Reflections · Australian Fashion Week 2026

I photographed Carla Zampatti’s Reflections runway on the Park Hyatt Sydney Boardwalk, where the label opened Australian Fashion Week on 11 May 2026. Tailored pieces and flowing eveningwear moved along the harbour setting, with the collection’s shapes and fabric finishes coming into focus as each look passed.

The photographs follow the full looks, movement and smaller styling details against the night-time setting. My approach is to keep the garments clear while recording the atmosphere of a live presentation. Through EDG Studios, I provide runway and editorial fashion photography in Sydney, with coverage shaped around the collection and how the images will be used.

Carla Zampatti Reflections runway photography

EDG Studios photographed Carla Zampatti’s Resort 27 ‘Reflections’ runway show at Australian Fashion Week 2026 on the Park Hyatt Sydney Boardwalk. The harbour setting gives the collection a distinctly Sydney backdrop, while the photographs keep the garments and their movement in focus. Full looks sit alongside views of silhouette, fabric texture and styling, showing how the pieces are presented on the runway. The series brings those details together with the atmosphere of the show.

This gallery forms part of my ongoing fashion show coverage, alongside Carla Zampatti’s ‘Ubiquity’ 60th anniversary presentation in 2025. My approach is to capture the clothing clearly while responding to the pace, light and setting of each presentation.
