Sydney Harbour Concours d’Elegance

EDG Studios photographed Polestar and Candela at the 2025 Sydney Harbour Concours d’Elegance on Cockatoo Island. The series follows the electric vehicles and Candela C-8 from product details to demonstrations, guest interactions and the harbour setting. My approach to event and automotive photography keeps the design in focus while showing how people experience the brand.

Polestar × Candela at Sydney Harbour Concours d’Elegance

EDG Studios photographed Polestar and Candela at Sydney Harbour Concours d'Elegance on Cockatoo Island. The gallery brings together the electric vehicles, Candela C-8, brand installations and guests, with the harbour and the island's industrial waterfront setting placing the presentation in context. Wider photographs show how the products sit within the event, while closer views focus on design details and the people taking part.

For a project like this, we look at the whole setting as well as the products themselves. Product details, demonstrations and guest interactions each tell a different part of the story, giving the brand a mix of photographs for its website, press and social media. We photograph automotive activations and commercial events across Sydney, with coverage shaped around the space, the people and the intended use of the images.
