Celebrating Design By Them’s 18th birthday

Design By Them celebrated its 18th birthday on 19 March 2026 at its Alexandria showroom in Sydney. The coming-of-age party brought guests together to mark the milestone with founders Sarah Gibson and Nicholas Karlovasitis. EDG Studios photographed the evening, recording the people, furniture and moments that made it a celebration of the brand’s community.

A turquoise ball pit surrounding a sofa gave the showroom a playful focal point. Founder portraits and guests relaxing among the balls sit alongside conversations around the room and views of the furniture displays. The gallery shows the space as it was used throughout the party, with the furniture forming part of the celebration.
